Ford 6.7L Power Stroke roller tappet and adjuster: what to put in an enquiry
SGS Engine Parts lists two Ford references for the 6.7L Power Stroke roller tappet: BC3Z-6500-C, the roller tappet, and BC3Z-6500-B, the adjuster, which is either fitted into the tappet or supplied separately. Say in the enquiry which of the two you need, and the assembly contents are confirmed before quoting.
The two references
| Reference | What it is |
|---|---|
BC3Z-6500-C | Roller tappet |
BC3Z-6500-B | Adjuster, fitted into the tappet or supplied separately |
Both share the base number 6500, the number Ford uses for a valve tappet.
Why the enquiry should say which you need
The adjuster can arrive fitted into the tappet or as a part of its own. Two buyers asking for the 6.7 tappet can mean different things: one wants the tappet with its adjuster, the other only the adjuster for tappets already on the bench. Naming the reference, or both, settles it before the quotation rather than after delivery.
How to enquire
- Find the Ford number on the packaging or the parts invoice. If the only number you have is one marked on the part itself, send it and say that is where it came from.
- Say whether you need the roller tappet, the adjuster on its own, or both, and the quantity of each.
- Ask for the assembly contents to be confirmed. SGS Engine Parts confirms what each reference contains before quoting; a listed number does not confirm stock or fitment for a particular vehicle.
SGS Engine Parts supplies Czech and EU distributors and wholesalers re-exporting into Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Send your OE number, required quantity and destination. We will review the part and the requirements for a quotation.
