How to identify a MAN or DOOSAN engine part before you enquire

To identify a MAN or DOOSAN engine part, SGS Engine Parts needs the part's reference, the exact engine type and the engine's serial number. The engine type and serial number are what confirm the application; a reference on its own, or a displacement such as 21.9L, does not.

What to send

  1. The reference you have, as it is written on the part, the packaging or the parts list. Some references on the list are written with dots and spaces, such as 51.02400-6034 or 403 050 14 36: send them exactly as written.
  2. The exact engine type. The source behind the SGS Engine Parts list names DOOSAN GV222ti, GV158ti, GE08ti and GE12ti among the engines it covers.
  3. The engine's serial number.
  4. The quantity and the destination.

Why the engine type and serial number matter

The SGS Engine Parts list groups its MAN and DOOSAN references by displacement and part: a 21.9L rocker arm assembly, a single rocker arm, a valve tappet and a connecting rod, and DOOSAN connecting rods for the 11.9L and 8.1L. Those groupings follow the supplied catalogue. They do not establish that every part fits every MAN or DOOSAN engine of that size, and a listed pair of references is not a confirmed equivalence.

So the application, the equivalence of any two references, the assembly contents and availability are all confirmed for the engine in question before quoting.

Every reference on the list, with its notes, is on the MAN/DOOSAN page.

SGS Engine Parts supplies Czech and EU distributors and wholesalers re-exporting into Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Send your OE number, required quantity and destination. We will review the part and the requirements for a quotation.
